In 2006, Jennifer added two important roles to her operatic repertoire. She performed Adina in L'Elisir D'amore by
Donizetti at Brooklyn's Regina Opera Company to rave reviews. She then traveled to Montreal to the prestigious
International Vocal Arts Institute where she prepared  the role of Gilda in
Rigoletto with Metropolitan Opera Conductor
Paul Nadler. In Montreal, Jennifer also had the special opportunity of coaching portions of her Mozart roles Susanna (
Le
Nozze di Figaro)
and Konstanze (Die Entfuhrung aus dem Serail) with world-renowned conductor Julius Rudel.  In October
2006, Jennifer was granted an Encouragement Award from the Mario Lanza Scholarship Foundation  Voice Competition.

Jennifer's other operatic performances include Susanna in
Le Nozze di Figaro with One World Symphony, Bastienne in
Mozart’s
Bastien und Bastienne with the Garden State Opera, Fanny in Rossini’s La Cambiale di Matrimonio with Rockland
Opera Society, Sister Constance in
Dialogues of the Carmelites with Intermezzo Opera, and Miss Silverpeal in Mozart's
The Impresario with Intermezzo Opera.  While a member of the Mannes Opera Department, Jennifer performed
numerous scenes under the batons of Maestros Joseph Colaneri and Ted Taylor including portions of: Marie (
La Fille du
Regiment
), Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro), Lucia di Lammermoor, Zdenka (Arabella), Gilda
(
Rigoletto),  and Pousette (Manon).

Jennifer can be heard on the Naxos American Classics release
Left at the Fork in the Road singing world premiere
pieces by composer Sean Hickey. Fanfare Magazine praised this recording by saying “Jennifer Greene… sings with
technical skill, clarity, and intelligence.” Jennifer reprised her role in Hickey's
Sagesse at the New York Society for
Ethical Culture under the baton of Phil Nuzzo and the Metro Chamber Orchestra.

Jennifer has performed as a concert soloist with orchestras throughout the tri-state area in repertoire including Orff
Carmina Burana, Handel Messiah, Bach Christmas Oratorio and Magnificat, Villa-Lobos Bachianas Brasileiras No. 5,  
Fauré
Requiem, Vivaldi Gloria, Strauss Brentano Lieder, and Mozart’s C Minor Mass & Exultate Jubilate.

An avid recitalist, Jennifer has been heard in venues throughout the country including The College of Staten Island, The
Russian Consulate, The Spanish Institute, The Union Club, The Conductor's Club, The Mannes College of Music, the
CUNY Graduate Center, The Hartt School of Music, The Lake Placid Institute for the Arts and Humanities, and the Aspen
Music Festival.

Jennifer studied at the Mannes College of Music in New York City, where she earned both Master and Bachelor of Music
Degrees and received the Michael Sisca Opera Award.

Jennifer currently resides in New York City and continues to study voice with Arthur Levy.
Soprano Jennifer S. Greene has captured the hearts of
audiences across the USA with her charming stage presence
and silvery lyric-coloratura soprano voice. Her 2008
performances have included the role of La Fée (Fairy
Godmother) in New York City Opera Education Department’s
adaptation on
Cendrillon at Aaron Davis Hall in New York City,
Lucy in
The Telephone with The Natchez Opera Festival,
highlights from
The Merry Widow with the New Rochelle Opera
Gala, and the soprano soloist in
Carmina Burana with the UPenn
Symphony & Chorus in Philadelphia.

Heralded for her dedication to arts education, Ms. Greene has
performed throughout New York in a variety of outreach
performances including
Cinderella and The Little Prince with New
York City Opera Education, Gretel in
Hansel and Gretel with
Fairy Tale Opera Theater, and recitals with Education Through
Music, Horizon Concerts, and The International Vocal Arts
Institute.

In May 2007, Ms. Greene was an Artist-In-Residence at the
Natchez Festival of Music in Mississippi where she was
featured in operatic recitals singing arias from her repertoire
including Lucia, Gilda, Violetta, Baby Doe, and Musetta. In
addition to her recitals in Natchez, she covered the role of Eliza
Doolittle in My Fair Lady.
